Patchwork Intermediates: Foundation Paper Piecing

Patchwork Intermediates: Foundation Paper Piecing

Friday, April 12th 6-9pm

Join Brittney for an evening of patchwork and learn the basics for Foundation Paper Piecing! This is a fun way to get cute shapes and accurate designs without tons of measuring. You will start by making triangular blocks, then learn how to conquer something a little more complicated like our penguin. Already have a paper piecing pattern you’d like to learn from? Bring it along and Brittney will help you sort through it!

This is an intermediate class, meaning you should have some basic patchwork experience before taking this course, as well as be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine.

Required Materials (available in our shop):

  • a variety of fat quarters (18x22") of print or solid fabric, as well as scraps in various sizes

  • thread

Class includes:

  • 3 hours of instruction

  • Snacks & drinks

  • Use of our Janome sewing machines

  • Use of our cutting and marking tools

  • 15% all in store purchases before, during and after on class day (drop in a little early and let us help you pick out your materials for class!)
