Saturday, April 27th & Sunday, April 28th 10a-5p
In this weekend class taught by Cal Patch, you'll learn how to draft a pattern (using your own measurements) for your own custom shift dress with sleeves, make a muslin to test the fit, alter the pattern, and then sew a real dress! Skills covered will include taking measurements, pattern drafting, darts, bias tape facings, (optional) invisible zippers, hemming, and more. This classic and versatile style can also become a blouse or tunic, with infinite sleeve variations.
While prior garment experience is not required to take this class, you must be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine. Don't know how to use a sewing machine? Take our Sewing Machine Basics class!
Class fee includes the following:

Use of our marking, measuring, cutting, drafting, and sewing tools
