Intro to Patchwork: 9 Patch

Intro to Patchwork: 9 Patch
45.00

Friday, January 4th 6-9pm

Join Brittany for an evening of patchwork and learn the foundation of the beautiful craft of quilting.  This class is perfect for the absolute beginner or if you need to brush up on some of your skills!  Brittany will share tips getting accurate cutting, seaming, and present inspiring layout ideas. In one session, you can create enough pretty little 9-patch blocks to make a charming pillow cover (or the beginnings of a gorgeous new quilt!)

While prior quilting experience is not required to take this class, you must be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine. Don't know how to use a sewing machine? Take our Sewing Machine Basics class!

Required Materials (available in our shop):

  • 4 fat quarters (18x22") of print or solid fabric

  • 1/2 yard for pillow backing

Class includes:

  • 3 hours of instruction

  • Snacks & drinks

  • Use of our Janome sewing machines

  • Use of our cutting and marking tools

  • 15% all in store purchases before, during and after on class day (drop in a little early and let us help you pick out your materials for class!)

PLEASE NOTE: Our class and workshop policies have changed for 2019. By signing up for this class, you acknowledge that you have read + agree to our updated policies. Click here to see our Craft South class policies.
