Wednesdays 9/7, 9/14, 9/21 & 9/28 // 4:30 - 6:30 pm
Afternoon Sewcial is back and better than ever! Each month, participants will be presented with a different craft focus, so taking part in every session will build their skills in a meaningful and rewarding way! September is all about PATCHWORK! Each week will focus on a different part of the patchwork process or technique and various methods of quilt making will be presented to inspire each student to develop at their own pace! As a fundamental part of the sewing process, your child will learn safe cutting, accurate seaming, as well as designing a quilt and finishing it.
Afternoon Sewcial is appropriate for 4th grade or 8+ in age with some sewing experience. While we provide help, supervision, and a project direction, students are encouraged to be creative and take their own crafting avenues. Price includes use of studio and supervision. Most materials are covered, however we will let you know if finishing a project requires an extra materials fee.
There is no penalty if you have paid for class and cannot make it, you can simply use your paid pass for your next available Wednesday! You can purchase in advance and we will take role, and check off attendance to keep track. Purchasing a whole month at a time will give you a savings!
Use the drop down menu to select number of September classes. After adding total number of desired classes to cart, you will be able to fill in participant information.
