Are you interested in taking your garment sewing to the next level? Whether you're a beginner who is still learning the ropes and wants a little hand-holding, an intermediate who requires a small amount of guidance, or an advanced sewer who just needs that push to tackle your next big project - we have the class for you! Join our fabulous instructors + garment extraordinaires Lauren Taylor and Michelle Abegg on the 3rd Thursday of each month for an open sewing class! There is nothing these ladies can't handle - from the very beginner to the very advanced, they've got you covered!
Want to learn how to cut perfectly matched plaids? Need some help tweaking a pattern to get a custom fit? Have a hankering to sew your own button-up, but need some moral support along the way? Are you a beginner who wants to learn how to read and follow a sewing pattern? Maybe you just want to take advantage of the dedicated sewing time (while also having a lifeline nearby in case you need it!)? Whatever your garment focus, Lauren and Michelle will be there to help!
Required Materials (available in our shop):
- Whatever you want to work on! Make sure to bring your pattern, fabric, and necessary notions.
- 3 hours of instruction
- Use of our cutting, marking, and measuring tools
- Use of our Janome sewing machines & thread - including our sergers and coverstitch machines!
- Snacks & drinks
- 15% off all in store purchases before, during and after on class day (yes, we will have the registers open during class!)
Choose your preferred date by selecting the option in the drop-down menu. If you paid for a class and cannot make it, you can simply use your paid pass for the next available Thursday!
