Beginner Knitting: Beginner Beanie

Learn the skills to make your own beanie with Jenny Reichert! These knit up quick & make the raddest of gifts for your friends & family! In this class, you will learn how to measure & pick appropriate sizes, joining in the round, ribbing stitches, decreases, how to avoid "ladders" in your work, as well as an array of skills such as how to use both DPN's or 2 circulars. No worries if you've never knit in the round before - the only skills you need to be able to rock at this class are the basic knit and purl stitches.

Materials needed:

-1 skein Worsted weight yarn,

-Knitting nedles - either 1) a 16" circular and DPNs to match yarn weight, OR 2) two 24" circular needles to match yarn weight.

-3 hours of instruction

-15% all in store purchases before, during and after on class day (drop in a little early and let us help you pick out yarn and needles for class, and leave a little extra time to have your skein rolled into a “cake” before class begins!
