Join our friend Lauren for a fantastic introduction to sewing for yourself!  You'll be making an infinity scarf which is a wonderful opportunity to create a timeless staple in your accessories wardrobe that you can wear year round.  Lauren will cover the basics of sewing machine operations, accurate cutting and constructing your scarf - no knitting required!

No prior sewing experience? No problem! This class is perfect for the absolute beginner - the simple, straight lines will get you comfortable operating a sewing machine, and you will leave with a finished scarf that your friends won't believe you made!

Class fee includes:

  • 3 hours of instruction

  • Use of our cutting, marking and measuring tools

  • Use of our Janome sewing machines

  • Water & snacks

  • 15% of your materials purchases on class day (come in a little early and let us help you pick out your discounted materials)

Required Materials:

  • 1 1/8 yard lightweight fabric for each scarf outer + lining (2 1/4 yards total) - try one of our quilting cottons, yarn dyes, cotton lawns, or even our cozy flannels!
