Ready to take your home machine quilting skills to the next level? In this class, modern quilt designer and fabric designer, Carolyn Friedlander, will focus on free motion quilting with your home sewing machine. She’ll cover design strategy by discussing how to approach your project and what to put where. We’ll move into the technical stuff by exploring the mechanics behind making those design strategies come to life. Students are encouraged to bring one quilt top that will be a part of the class discussion. In looking at each student's actual work, all students will gain a varied perspective of strategy and design implementation. Carolyn will have several of her finished works on hand and will spend time with students one-on-one in order to guide your unique project hopes.
