Join Brittney for an evening of patchwork and learn how to create the classic Churn Dash block! This traditional designs is super old school, inspired by the shape of a butter churn and its stick (or "dash"). The block itself is a wonderful way to play with contrasting colors and graphic designs, and it makes a great simple skill-building for quilting beginners. Brittney will share tips getting accurate cutting, seaming, and present inspiring layout ideas. In one session, you can create enough Churn Dash blocks to make a charming pillow cover, or be well on your way to making a quilt top!
